A browser-side privacy and security layer that catches sensitive data before users send it to AI tools.
Sequirly is a Chrome extension that scans prompts locally to keep sensitive data from reaching AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini. It is built around the observation that most teams accidentally share credentials, PII, and confidential data with AI on a daily basis.
The extension ships with 50+ detection patterns, all running on-device, with less than 50ms of added latency. It catches API keys and tokens for 40+ services (including AWS, Stripe, OpenAI, and GitHub), as well as PII like email addresses, phone numbers, and addresses. Document uploads are scanned too, including PDFs, spreadsheets, CSVs, and Word files. A security dashboard logs Warned and Blocked events and exports CSVs for SOC2 and GDPR audits.
It is aimed at tech teams catching credentials inside config files or .env contents during AI-assisted debugging, and at marketing or consulting teams handling client lists, NDA material, and other privileged information that should never leave the browser.
