Lunagraph is a design canvas powered by Claude Code where the underlying medium is real HTML, CSS, and React rather than vector shapes. It is currently in public beta and targets the handoff problem of "translating pixels into tickets" by making the design itself shippable code.
The AI partner sees both the canvas and your local codebase: you can connect a GitHub or local repo and have it read, edit, and diff specific files (for example src/components/pricing/PricingCard.tsx). A live iframe preview renders the output, and changes go through an approve/reject diff workflow before they touch the repo.
Designers get familiar inputs (moodboards, screenshots, color-palette cards) plus screenshot-vs-implementation comparison, while developers get real components they can keep working with. It is built for cross-functional teams that want one surface where designers, product, developers, and AI agents stay aligned.
